Itinerary
We’ll pick you up directly from Coquimbo Port between 8:00 and 8:30 am and set off on an unforgettable journey from the sparkling Pacific coast to the foothills of the Andes, following the winding course of the Elqui River. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the stunning landscapes and rich local culture of this magical valley.
Our first stop is a charming local shop, where you can taste and discover delicious products made from one of La Serena’s signature fruits – the sweet papaya. We’ll then continue to the impressive Puclaro Dam, a marvel of engineering framed by spectacular scenery.
Next, we’ll visit the picturesque town of Vicuña, where you’ll enjoy a stop at a local ice cream factory for a delightful tasting of unique, locally inspired flavors. The journey continues to a traditional artisan Pisco distillery, where you’ll learn the secrets behind this emblematic Chilean spirit and sample its distinctive taste.
We’ll pause for a hearty lunch at a typical local restaurant, savoring the authentic flavors of the region, before beginning our scenic drive back to La Serena, filled with wonderful memories and photographs of the Elqui Valley.
